Stone countertops have the ability to withstand high temperatures without significant damage; one of the most heat-resistant options for kitchen countertops is granite.

Strong & durable

Stone countertops are durable and have superior load-bearing capacity compared to alternatives like laminate or wood tops.

Antimicrobial

Stone countertops, naturally antibacterial, offer a hygienic surface; quartz, in particular, is great for creating antibacterial countertops in kitchens and bathrooms.

Easy to maintain

Stone countertops are easily maintained and, with proper care, can endure for centuries, showcasing their longevity and resilience.

We offer a wide range of natural stone and engineered stone options, allowing the countertops to be tailored to your preferences, including edge profile and surface treatment, ensuring a perfect fit for your home.
Ceramic countertops

Crafted from natural components like sand, feldspar, clay, and pigments, ceramic countertops bring a decorative charm perfect for modern kitchens and bathrooms. These sturdy surfaces resist high temperatures, enduring direct heat without harm, and their dense structure shields against wear and scratches from daily use. Easy to clean and resistant to liquid stains, ceramic countertops provide an eco-friendly option for a chic and up-to-date kitchen or bathroom. With a range of colors and finishes, these countertops allow you to tailor your kitchen worktop to your preferred style, whether it's classic marble, natural stone, or a more contemporary look like cement or metal.

Marble countertops

Marble countertops offer an exquisite touch of natural beauty and timeless elegance, making them ideal for those seeking a luxurious and distinctive design in their living spaces. Our diverse marble range includes popular choices like the light Carrara marble, as well as slabs with more vibrant and intense color variations. While marble adds a sophisticated aesthetic to any space, it is essential to be mindful of its softer and more porous nature, making it susceptible to staining, scratching, and etching from acidic substances. To preserve the integrity of the surface, it is recommended to use trivets or heat-resistant mats when placing hot cookware, ensuring that, with regular maintenance, sealing, and proper care, marble countertops can endure the test of time in your home.

Quartz countertops

Quartz countertops stand out for their combination of aesthetic appeal and practical durability. With a diverse array of colors, ranging from simple patterns to intricate imitations of natural stones like granite or marble, quartz provides ample design flexibility for home decor. White quartz, in particular, is a popular choice for countertops due to its rarity in nature and timeless elegance. Renowned for its exceptional durability, resistance to stains, chips, and cracks, quartz requires no sealing and is non-porous, ensuring easy maintenance and protection against bacteria. While highly resilient, it's essential to avoid exposing quartz countertops to excessive heat, as they have a specific threshold beyond which damage may occur.

Renowned for its resilience to both heat and cold, granite is especially well-suited for kitchen use, where it can withstand the demands of cooking and food preparation. Beyond its functional attributes, granite's enduring popularity stems from its resistance to stains, adding an element of elegance and natural beauty to any kitchen space.

Terrazoo countertops

Terrazzo is an engineered stone material often used for flooring, walls, and countertops. It typically consists of chips of marble, quartz, granite, glass, or other suitable materials bound together by cement or resin, often with various pigments. The mixture is then polished to create a smooth, durable surface with a unique speckled appearance. Terrazzo is known for its versatility, allowing for a wide range of design possibilities, making it a popular choice for both commercial and residential spaces. Additionally, it is ecologically sustainable as it reuses stones from quarries that would otherwise go to waste. We offer a wide range of Quarella Terrazzo stones and Technistone Terrazzo stones, such as Taurus Terrazzo White, Taurus Terrazzo Grey, and Taurus Terrazzo Black.

Limestone countertops

Limestone countertops boast timeless elegance, effortlessly blending with diverse design styles whether used indoors or outdoors. Countertop hole for sink

Overmount sink

Overmount sinks, also called topmount or drop-in sinks, secure in place with a distinctive lip on the bench, eliminating the need for extra support. Easily installed into a pre-cut hole in the countertop, they offer flexibility for replacement or upgrades without altering the existing countertop. However, cleaning around the raised lip can be challenging.

Flush-mount sink

Flushmount sinks, seamlessly integrate with the countertop, providing a clean, easy-to-maintain environment. Without a lip covering the bench, they maximize workspace and enhance hygiene. Supported by base cabinets, these sinks sit flush, eliminating visible grout lines for a sleek appearance.

Underglued

Undermount sinks sit below the counter, with the edge of the sink positioned beneath the level of the countertop. This design provides more working space on the tabletop, easy-to-clean sink areas, and an elegant overall appearance. Undermount sinks work particularly well with stone countertops.

Undermilled

Undermount sinks can also be flushed underneath the tabletop. In that way, only half of the stone crosscut is visible in the sink section, offering a unique design while maintaining the benefits of undermount installation, such as increased tabletop space and easy cleaning.

Drainage grooves

Drainage grooves are essential for a dry and clean kitchen. Unlike flat surfaces that allow water to pool, these grooves efficiently direct liquids into the sink. By preventing water from spreading and dripping, these subtle channels enhance both functionality and cleanliness in the kitchen. We offer the addition of these grooves to stone countertop and sink installation for a seamless and practical solution for your kitchen.

Overmount

Overmount cooktops offer several benefits when paired with stone countertops. The overmount design allows for easier installation and replacement. The raised edges of the cooktop prevent spills from spreading onto the stone surface, reducing the likelihood of stains and damage. The overmount style also helps keep good ventilation, ensuring proper airflow and heat dissipation while cooking. This is especially beneficial for heat-sensitive stone materials.

Flush-mount

Flush-mount cooktops seamlessly integrate with stone countertops, offering a sleek and modern aesthetic. They eliminate raised edges, creating a smoother and more convenient workspace, enhancing the kitchen's look and simplifying cleaning. The flush-mount design also promotes a more ergonomic cooking experience, as pots and pans can be slid effortlessly across the countertop.

FAQ

What is included in the countertop installation price?

The installation price covers the transportation of countertops to the site, the installation and attachment to cabinets, as well as the connection of undermounted or flush-fitted sinks and flush-fitted stovetops to the stone countertop. Additionally, the service includes the application of silicone to the connection points. Usually we don’t offer plumbing and electrician work, but nothing is impossible, so feel free to contact us if you want us to take care of that as well. Surface adjustments at the installation site are not included and will be charged extra if they are necessary.

If old countertops are on top, who will remove them and when?

The removal of old countertops is not a service included with the installation of new countertops. We kindly request that customers take care of removing the old countertops no later than the morning of the scheduled installation day for the new countertops. If you want Liidukivi team to take care of the removal of old countertops then you must request the service beforehand and a service fee for that will be included in the quotation.

How do I prepare my kitchen or room for the countertop installation?

Prepare the room for installation following our guidelines: pre-assemble cabinets/counters and ensure straight walls. To minimize additional work and save time, uninstall the old countertop or ensure it is easily removable (not glued). Ensure the installation space is well-protected, with covered floors and cleared walls and furniture to prevent damage during installation. If necessary, protect nearby surfaces by covering them as well. Please note that we do not take responsibility for any surface damage during installation, but we do compensate for damage caused by the negligence of our installers. We recommend customers wait until the worktop is installed before engaging in painting, wallpapering, or other finishing work. If you have any questions about the work process or preparations, feel free to contact us.
